Elizabeth Peck, business development manager, national van sales at Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment Co., passed away Feb. 17, 2021. She was 55.
Peck was well-known in the fleet industry due to her three-decades of customer-facing sales development positions and being a frequent exhibitor at major fleet industry conferences and meetings. Peck had worked for Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment Co. since 2017 until her death.
Prior to working at Dejana, Peck worked for TAG - Truck Accessories Group, LLC in national fleet and commercial sales from 2012-2017.
Peck started her fleet career working at Adrian Steel Company as a sales analyst, where she worked for almost 17 years. She joined Adrian Steel in 1989 while attending college and held a successive series of management positions up through 2017. Her first management position at Adrian Steel was national Road~Redi manager.
Peck was born on Dec. 7, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio, at The Ohio State University Hospital to Howard and Barbara Klinker. She received her bachelor’s degree from Siena Heights University. Peck was an avid Buckeye fan and her family were season ticket holders for many years. According to her friends, she enjoyed cooking, watching her daughter play volleyball, had an excellent work ethic, and was a great problem solver.
In June 2008, in a ceremony in Newport Beach, Calif., she married Brian E. Peck. In addition to her husband, Brian, and her mother, Barbara, she is survived by two daughters, Taylor Felver and Alix (Eddie) Melgarejo; two grandchildren, Kaide and Kruz; a sister, Suzanne (Art) Owens; and two nephews, Logan and Nicholas.
